The immaculate conception.
Religion attempted to figure out a way for Mary to carry the sinless Christ, so they concocted the “immaculate conception”.
I have found that 99% of professing Christians don’t even know what it is without a google search. They, (the religious) concocted that Mary, had to be sinless at “her” conception, not Christ’s, to carry the sinless Christ in her womb. In other words, that “Mary” was born sinless.
Don’t take my word for it, here’s the teaching:
491 Through the centuries the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, “full of grace” through God,134 was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854: “The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin”.135 (Paragraph 491, Roman catechism)
This is not biblical, and there’s no need for it.
The scripture clearly states, that Mary, a sinner, (Romans 3:23) was chosen by God, to carry the sinless Son of God. God, all knowing, and all powerful had made a way for her to carry Him, without the sinless blood of Christ being mingled with her tainted blood.
Just read any book on obstetrics.
“The foetal blood in the vessels of the chorionic villae AT NO TIME GAINS ACCESS TO THE MATERNAL BLOOD in the intervillous spaces, BEING SEPARATED FROM ONE ANOTHER by the double layer of chorionic epithelium. “Williams’ Practice of Obstetrics.”
We now know, that God already had it figured out! The blood of the fetus doesn’t mix with that of the mother. Christ could occupy the womb of a sinner because there was no blood there from sinful man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirt. (Matthew 1:18,20) Therefore, His perfect sinless blood, never mingled with the poisoned blood of man… or the mother.
Contrast this with what Mary said in the Holy Scripture:
[46] And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, [47] And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. (Luke 1:46-47)
The mother of Jesus was blessed among women! Absolutely. She was not sinless, and she, like everyone else, needed a savior – she said so. So did the so called “church fathers”: St. Irenaeus says, “Being obedient she became the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race.” ??? (paragraph 494, Roman catechism)
Uh-oh! Flat out got it wrong.
Pretty amazing that science exposed this erroneous concoction many years later.
Christ’s royal, perfect blood, that dripped from His perfect sinless brow, would be the means to remove the obstacle. (Sin)
Friends, I challenge you to read some of the preposterous documents of catechism and books of discipline, as you seek the truth. Contrast them with scripture and choose whom you will serve.
God’s word will not come back void. It’s amazing that truth will always be revealed and may even take thousands of years and in a way you would least expect.
Science reveals God’s truth – imagine that! Amen!
