The way I see it….
I love the story in scripture when Elisha’s servant was allowed to see with spiritual eyes what he could not see with his physical eyes!
2 Kings 6:17-18 KJV
[17] And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. [18] And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
God allows or disallows spiritual sight. He allowed the servant to see what He (God) saw. He also took away the sight of the opposition and they were led away. They were blinded as the nation of Israel is currently, to allow the fullness of the Gentiles to come in.
Christ opened the eyes of the disciples to see it was Him. Luke 24:31 KJV
[31] And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
God opened Paul’s eyes after blinding him with His glorious light. Acts 9:3,9 KJV
[3] And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: [9] And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
Acts 9:17-18 KJV
[17] And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. [18] And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Our Spiritual eyes ( seeing as God sees) are closed unless God allows otherwise. Genesis 3:7-8 KJV
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. [8] And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
God, by His grace opens our Spiritual eyes when we are born….of… the Spirit….. Born of God by faith, the new birth Christ talks to Nicodemus about in John chapter 3. John 3:5-7 KJV
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Do you see this? Marvel not… that you MUST….. be born again! Flesh is flesh. Spirit is spirit.
We must have this “Spirit” birth to enter into Spirit, as physical birth allows us to enter physical humanity. As physical allows physical eyes, Spirit birth allows Spiritual eyes.

[3] Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; [4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
Made of the seed of David, according…to ….the…. flesh!
Watch this: And declared to be the Son of God with power, according…. to….the..Spirit!!
DO NOT MISS THIS:
You, ____, were made of the seed of _____ according to the flesh, ( your name and your father’s name)
And declared to be a child….of……God with power, according to the Spirit !!
We must understand there is a realm of existence beyond what is physically seen, something greater than us. One must only peer into the endless universe, or the eyes of a child, to see this power and intelligence. At once, we will want to know about it. As we seek, it is revealed.
We will find the “it” is “Him”
God has given us the physical to show us how the Spiritual realm works, if we would just “see” it. Romans 1:20 KJV
[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
The invisible God has become visible for man to see. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV
[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
John 1:14 KJV
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Colossians 2:9 KJV
[9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
God so loved us, that He set aside His glory to allow us poor, feeble, lost humans to know Him.
Tell me, what on earth could one accomplish greater than knowing God?
God became flesh in the person of Christ to show us He could and would occupy a human body – yours!
Think about this: the God of the universe, all power, all intelligence, all goodness, perfect, Holy, ever present Love, that spoke the unsearchable endless universe into existence knows you, every fiber of your being and thought, and has made Himself available for you to know Him. He will allow you to see and understand as He does.
He has come so close as to dwell in you.
What could be greater?
The proof that all men seek, is they come to know Him and can’t deny His presence when they let Him in.
The more we seek Him, the more He reveals to us.
Just look how God reveals the physical sciences to men that seek it. We didn’t invent mathematics or physics. We didn’t invent DNA, God’s unique design of each individual. Man can not yet replicate human blood; They know it’s ingredients but can’t replicate it. Man continues to seek and God continues to reveal. When scientists discover, they are not creating, they are merely allowed to see what God sees. Sad thing is, most scientists by their own admission are 95% atheists? God reveals, but men give the credit to themselves! The same is true for the Spiritual things of God. If you seek and study, God will reveal His truths.
What scientist do you admire when you look into the heavens?
What creature or idol do you give praise and glory reserved for God?
Romans 1:20-25 KJV

We have come to “know” the truths of science. We would defend these truths at any cost because we “know” these truths. But yet we scoff at the unseen truths that God has revealed.
We scoff at naming faith science – Spiritual science. Faith is evidence of the unseen, just as a falling object is evidence of gravity. Hebrews 11:1,3 KJV
[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Faith, meets God’s promises to create a new birth in the Spirit, just as male and female gametes meet to cause human birth.
Science defined:
the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
Exchange the word “physical” and “natural” with spirit and spiritual in this definition.
If we studied the Spiritual realm as we study the physical realm, we would find understanding beyond our physical capability. We would take on the mind and heart of the one allowing us to
see. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 KJV
[14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [15] But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. [16] For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Do you see this? The natural man can… not… receive the things of the Spirit, nor can he know them. Can the clay tell the potter?
We were born of flesh at our physical birth in a sack of water.
We are born of God or born from above, by faith, Spirit birth. It’s a must!! Jesus said “you must”.
This is big? It’s the foundation of Christianity. You must be born of the Spirit of God!
You must understand that God has changed you.
You say, “How”? By faith. I know, you want more, but this is God’s answer to how. Faith is the answer to every “how”. Hebrews 11:6 KJV
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith is trusting what God is doing, what God has said. Faith is trusting, believing. Ancient mariners put their “faith”, trust, belief on a star or constellation to bring them safely in. As long as they kept it, they were on the right course.
Luke 1:34,37-38 KJV
[34] Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? [37] For with God nothing shall be impossible. [38] And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Oh, that we would say the same; be it unto “me” Lord according to thy word.
We must understand that God is Spirit. John 4:24 KJV
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
We can’t make or place ourselves into that which He is, but….God the creator can place Himself into the physical realm, (He made it all) and has done so in Christ. Philippians 2:7 KJV
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
But made himself…..
He has done this to rescue fallen humanity. Why? He loves you and wants to be near you and be known. You bring Him pleasure. You are the crowning touch to all of His creation, a masterpiece. You were made in His likeness. We have a mind, will, and emotions (Soul). Our soul reflects what it sees and could only reflect fallen man and the world after the fall. Now, upon receiving Spiritual birth, we can reflect God.
God was in Christ (body) reconciling you back to your original exalted state among all of creation.
Think about this: God…. is allowing you….. into that which He is!
We can think and create, we understand and have intelligence. We have a human spirit, it’s who we are, our uniqueness, our exclusive DNA that is guided by the mind, will and emotions. We are housed in a body of flesh, whether lost or saved.
Genesis 1:26-27 KJV
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Let “us” make man in “our” image! You are special! No other creature is made in the image of God.
We must remember that “likeness” is not “same as”. We have His likeness, He doesn’t have ours.

[1] In the beginning God [created] (father creates, makes and molds) the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the [Spirit] (Ruach- Hebrew, pneuma – Greek, air or breath) of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God, [said] (Word that made all things just by the utterance, that became flesh- the Son) Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3 (Parenthetical emphasis mine).
Interesting. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Let “Us” make in”Our” image.
Mind, will and emotion, spirit, housed in a body. Likeness.
We can look at things as God sees them, or we can look at them as we see them.
I asked an atheist friend of mine this question: “Wouldn’t you want to know this amazing incredible, awesome intelligence and power of the created universe”? He said “ I would, I just don’t know how”. “He’s revealed himself to you in nature, in the heavens, in science, in the face of your little children and…..He became one of us in the person of Jesus Christ to show His love toward us that while we were still sinners, He, would die, becoming sin for us, was buried and arose to life eternal and was seen by many and if we would believe it, we could have His life, eternal life. He will make His home within us and give us His mind and will guide us and renew us until we are like Him I replied. “ That’s hogwash” he replied. “What if it’s the truth” I asked. He replied “I’ll take my chances”.
Friends, unless you can make an acorn morf into an oak tree or rise a tide, don’t chance it.
Don’t chance it, Give God’s Word a chance. His promise is that if you seek Him, You will find Him. You, will prove it to be true.
Many men have set out to prove that God is not real, only to find Him. They become the proof they were looking for.
C.S. Lewis comes to mind in a sea of laymen and scholars whose eyes were opened to see as God sees.
How does God see things? He tells us!
God sees you as either lost or saved. God does not see you in both places.
You are either in Adam (flesh) or in Christ (Spirit).
If in Adam, God sees you as lost, hiding from Him, dead to Him. You were born that way remember? He wants to clothe you with His righteousness. He will continue to pursue you because His will is that none would parish. He will never give up on you, as long as you have breath, no matter what you have done, no matter how bad you think you are. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
…. that all would come to repentance. That all would allow their minds to be changed; how they think about God and themselves. When your mind is changed, your direction will change.
But…. if you are in Christ, (by faith immersed into Christ by the Holy Spirit, Spirit birth, spiritual baptism) 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV
[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
You are saved, and this is how God sees you:

– You are forgiven! Totally, not partially. You are not forgiven progressively, He reveals knowledge to us progressively as our minds are renewed, but you are saved totally at your new birth. Think about it, you go from death to life. You’re either one or the either. You can’t be a little dead. Romans 4:6-8 KJV

Have you ever stopped and contemplated what Christ has done for you? To you?
Mainline christianity will tell you that you are separated from God when you sin????? Then what on earth did Christ do? What sin? When the new man that has been washed in the blood of Christ sins, God sees it on Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV
[21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Either Christ took my sin or he didn’t preacher! What sin? Sin is gone (as God sees it). Remembered no more. Hebrews 8:12 KJV
[12] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

What theological PhD hogwash, exegetical hermeneutics can you apply to that?
[44] No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44 KJV.
Watch this:
When an unregenerate sinner, whose heart is drawn by the Holy Spirit, his mind changed about his standing and position with God, agrees (confesses) he is a sinner and sees his need for a Savior, knowing he can’t save himself, hears the gospel that Christ died for his sins, was buried and on the third day arose to life, believes it and calls on the Lord to be saved…….He is!!! He is at that moment born again, born of God, a new creature, placed “in” Christ, sealed by the Holy Spirit of God. He is a child of God!!! Glory!!!! All of heaven shouts and celebrates when one lost soul has come home. God sees the lost child as the one lost lamb He has been searching for; Just as loved and cared for as all the rest who are safe and secure in Him. God sees him as repentant.
Don’t miss this: God…. sees the born again, blood bought sinner as alive to Him and… sees him as a new, new, new… creature!!! 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
He was once a fish and now an eagle. The new creature will have the desire to fly, not stay under water, to breathe the breath of heaven. It will be against his new nature to spend a second under water. When he does go under water, he will immediately attempt to soar back to that which he is made.
True repentance does not come from your words or a walk, it comes from God. Anybody can walk anywhere and say anything. Repentance comes from what God…. sees in your heart. That’s why we can never say whether or not someone has come to repentance and received salvation.
Do you see this? Repentance is… salvation. Oh, the religious want to keep you turning and spinning like a dog chasing his tail; sin – repent, sin – repent, sin – repent, telling you unless you confess every sin, you will die in it. The result is nothing more than one becoming dizzy and confused. They are placing a burden on you that Christ has lifted!!
You don’t even know a tenth of what God sees as sin, what you have left unconfessed.
Is it a sin to look down your nose at a repentant drunk that still has a drinking problem? Or is it sin when you say a repentant homosexual struggling with his lifestyle is bound for hell? Is it sin for you, that thank God that you are righteous because “ you” are doing everything that God wants you to do?
Let Jesus answer it: Luke 18:10-14 KJV
[10] Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [11] The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [12] I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. [13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. [14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
The one, was telling God to accept his works to be justified, the other
admitted he was a sinner and bowed before God knowing he could do nothing to make himself right.
Jesus didn’t say stop sinning and you will be justified, He said, if you call on Him, you will be justified!
Acts 2:36-38 KJV
[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. [37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (not for us in the age of Grace, but repentance is the same. We are now baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit. They accepted their change of mind and did what was required at the time, under the law).
They heard the truth and agreed with what the Holy Spirit had placed on their mind and heart. Their hearts were not hard to it, they were seeking truth and when that truth fell on their heart, it was received. They were sorry that they had crucified the Messiah. Watch this, vs. 37: when they heard….(whom they had crucified- Messiah), they were pricked…. in their hearts. (Holy Spirit work) and… they asked the question we must all ask: What must we do? Do you see this? Their minds were changed from not believing who Christ is, to believing who He is. For them to even ask the question shows a change of mind – repentance! Repentance results (not requires – where religion and legalism get it wrong) in a change of your feet as well.
Let me make it clear. Repentance results…. in a change of direction but does not require it.
If you are heading to the store and a policeman tells you the truth, that the bridge is flooded out and you must turn around, but you aren’t convinced and continue, then he tells you that many have perished, you change you mind and turn around… you have repented. The repentance was the change of mind that resulted….. in the change of direction. We always have a choice whether or not to follow the change of mind.
The policeman doesn’t say: but first you must take off you dirty shirt and change those shoes! 🙂
The changed mind (repentance) causes the change of direction! We don’t seek God unless He first draws us. John 6:44 KJV
[44] No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Don’t be so puffed up as to think you are doing it! Repentance is…. not your work, it’s God’s work.
Repentance is of God. The sinner’s heart is pricked and feels bad that he is not walking with God, that he has run from God, hidden from God. He stops and says “what must I do Lord”
The LORD answers “ come and allow me to cover you with the blood of an unblemished lamb”. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10 KJV
[9] Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Acts 10:44 KJV
[44] While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
These are Gentiles! Those lost and without God.
They heard….. and the Holy Ghost fell on them. REPENTANCE!!!!!
Acts 11:18 KJV
[18] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Read it again! God…… granted repentance!!!!!!! Grace, Grace!!!! Undeserved favor!
Paul didn’t change direction on the road to Damascus, his mind was changed by meeting the risen Christ (as yours will be).
Why did God choose Paul? Did Paul do anything worthy to receive Gods repentance? Not a thing; God… saw his repentant heart!!!!
You might say, how do you know that?
Watch this: First, God sees what we don’t.
Second, we see that God always goes first. We can’t come to God unless He first draws us. It’s God that initiates man coming to Him. We can do nothing of ourselves.
Jesus said……to… Paul, why do you persecute Me?
[4] And he (Paul), fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Why do you persecute Me… Paul? Paul was allowed to “see” as God sees, even though he was physically blinded (why do think one that so vehemently opposed Christ would immediately capitulate?) Paul, even though physically blind “sees that this is the God whom he wanted to serve with all of his being but could not see because of his human limitations- pride and self righteousness. [5] And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. God knew Paul was feeling the affects of going against Him as an ox kicks against the goads. (pricks or goads are spikes that have been added to a cart to hurt the animal when they kick) [6] And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. (Acts:9)
He continued on to Damascus a changed man. Did he turn from his sin? I think not. Many times after his conversion, we see Paul lament about doing that which he didn’t want to do, and not doing what he wanted to do. Paul tells us we will always struggle with the flesh where sin dwells.
God… sees you as repented! Maybe the religious don’t see it this way, but God… sees it!
Get off of the merry-go-round repentance, and relax and praise God for what He… has done by granting you repentance. HIS repentance. The result is your direction will change and you will turn from sin, The new creature born of God won’t like sin.
By Grace! Grace! Grace! The sinner that was lost without God is saved from death to life, from bondage to freedom, he is given a new heart, his mind will be renewed, he will become obedient because of his new heart, not his self will or works. God at that moment, God…. the Father, Son and Holy Ghost come to live in that earthen vessel that God….. has cleaned and now calls “His” temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV
[16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
He, God, removes your sins as far as the east is from the west and…… remembers….. them no…..more!
Hebrews 8:12 KJV
[12] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10:17 KJV
[17] And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
God sees….you as His child.
God sees….you as redeemed (bought back).
God sees….you as reconciled (made right)
God sees…. you as justified (made whole, just as if you hadn’t sinned)
God sees you as glorified. He sees the end at the beginning.
There’s a teaching that says already but not yet. God sees it as already and now.
These are human terms in time. God is outside of time.
I remember a time when I just wasn’t sure if I was saved and in Christ. Religion had me on the merry – go – round formula of sin repent, sin repent. Have you done enough? Have you confessed all of your sins? Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Do you tithe? Have you been baptized with water to repentance? Have you received the Holy Spirit baptism after you believed? Have you made him lord? Have you repented? Have you relented? Have you consented? Have you sinned since? OMG! That’s right, I cried out to God and asked Him! How do I know?
God spoke to me as clearly as any thought could ever do and said: Because I Am, you are.
Friends, if you have asked Him in, He has come in. God is not a man that he would lie.
God sees….. you as sanctified (set apart, same word as Holy) you are not being more sanctified, more set apart. You are… sanctified. The word means consecrated, set apart for… God. Your mind is being renewed and you are being changed with progressive revelation, but you have been given Christ’s righteousness, you have been given all of the Spiritual blessings in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 KJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV
[11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
You are growing and learning in Christ, but you are not being “more” set apart, “more” Holy or “more” consecrated. You will become a better human, but not a “better” child of God. Can you become more human? No! Neither can you become “more” a child of God after your Spirit birth.
He has given the believer His Best in the person and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
As a physical being , you grow in stature and knowledge. It’s the same now as a new born babe in Christ. You grow and learn and move from drinking milk to eating meat. You mature as a child of God just as you did as a child of your physical Dad.
You’re not becoming more of your earthly father’s child. No matter whether good or bad, you are still his child. It’s the same with your Heavenly Father.

Allow me to pause here and explain sanctification. This is an edit and was not in the original post.
What I’ve explained above is POSITIONAL SANCTIFICATION. We, the new spirit man that is born anew are sanctified – set apart for God, purified at the moment of conversion by faith. We are Holy ( same word), and declared Just- Justification. We must be sanctified – holy, set apart, purified, before we can be declared justified. The new Spirit man could not be “ in” Christ without this.
CONDITIONAL or EXPERIENTIAL SANCTIFICATION is the Holy Spirit setting apart our behavior, thoughts and attitudes as we continue in faith, living this new life in Christ. He will continue to set apart, purify, make Holy (sanctify) our behavior, setting apart our behavior from the world to look and be conformed to the image of Christ while in this human vessel.
COMPLETE SANCTIFICATION is when our condition is as our position. This will happen at our physical death or when the Lord comes in the rapture. We will be like Him!
Don’t make the mistake of conflating “POSITIONAL SANCTIFICATION and CONDITIONAL OR EXPERIENTIAL SANCTIFICATION as I did for many years, until a dear Sister in Christ and the Holy Spirit showed me the deeper meaning and use of sanctification.
This is not your work, it is the work of the Holy Spirit. If not, you would just be saved and not experience the gifts that come with the renewing of your mind and the transformation that comes while experiencing this amazing new life, here and now, as a new creature in Christ
As a result, you will find love were hate and resentment was. You will find joy where misery and disgruntlement were. Peace where anxiety once was, patience instead of pride, kindness where meanness once was, gentleness instead of roughness, goodness where sin once dominated, faithfulness where doubt gnawed, all leading to self control. A peace beyond your understanding.
Listen and watch for this, you will enjoy the process as you grow in Christ!

Sin has a consequence in the physical realm; God doesn’t want you to do it because it’s bad for you. He loves you and wants what’s best for you. Sin no longer separates the new man from God. You can…not….out….sin…the….grace….of God!!!!!!! The new man can still sin, but it is not imputed to him! But, you will be miserable and long to live as Christ wants you to live.
You will never enjoy sin ever again.

That’s how God sees it!!! You see, God not only saw Jesus on the cross, but you, the believer as well. You couldn’t see it!!! But, God sees it. You won’t hear that in church!

The gospel is that good! Most, even Christians just can’t believe it’s that good. It’s what sets us free, it’s what regenerates us, its what reconciles us to a Perfect Holy God! It cleans us and seats us with Him where He is. It’s joy! It’s peace! It’s victory over death and sin! Its what sets us apart! Its life after death! You are now a part of a new race of people. You are no longer Black or white, Chinese or American, Jew, Greek, African nor Indian, you “are” a child of the living God. A new race of people, God people! Melissa the crack addict and Joe the adulterer are my brother and sister. They are no longer sinners, they are children of God with behavior problems.
Friends, I hate to break it to you, but the way I see it, we, God’s Children are an ugly bunch. Just take a look around!
But… the way God sees it, we are clean and close. We have been washed as white as snow.
He sees us just the way He sees Christ!!!!
What an honor, privilege and blessing to be adopted into the eternal family of God!
Many will now say, “does that mean I can go and sin all I want?”
Actually, yes! You’re free to do it! You won’t hear that in church.
But, that’s the beauty of your conversion, your new heart, your new life. Your desires will change when the God of the universe takes up residence in you!!! Your new man won’t want to sin. You are dead to it and alive with Christ! You are born of Him and will want what He wants. Your new man has God’s DNA, you’re a new creature. No longer do you want what the old man wants. You’re Changed!!!!!

The way I see it, God.. by grace, became flesh to set the sinner free, died for our transgressions, arose to life after three days, debt totally paid, makes us clean and close, gives us His righteousness, gives us a new heart, seats us with Him in Glory, calls us His children, seals us with His Holy Spirit, makes His home within us, not in a temple made with hands or hewn stone but in these earthly vessels and gives us access right into His throne. We are a new people, the church the body of Christ- Saints, each of us, black, white, Gay, straight, male, female, trans, drunk, sober, Jew, Greek, a spiritual body built into a spiritual royal priesthood, set apart in an age between law and the rapture, (age of grace) a people that were not His people, to be His people. I know, the list is ugly (as we see it), they’re all sinners (prerequisite for salvation). These on the list will no longer be identified by their behavior but by who they have become at their new birth – children of God.
The religious love to use their list of behaviors that will not inherit the kingdom. You know, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV

Such were…..some….. of….. you! All of us!!!! [11] but… you…. have…. been…. washed!!!!
You “are” sanctified, set apart, consecrated, made Holy. That’s how God sees it!!
Please don’t think or share the message that you must first turn from your sin and clean yourself up to come to Christ! That religious definition of repentance has done more to keep folks away from God’s Grace than any I know of.
That’s Gods job! The Holy Spirit of God will do that. The poor babe in Christ can’t do it.

That’s how God sees it!
Who is the we? Who has been justified?
Those who have turned from sin? Really? If that were the case, we’re all heading straight to hell!
That’s how religion sees it – NOT HOW GOD SEES IT.
IF YOU TURNED FROM ALL OF YOUR SIN, YOU WOULDN’T NEED JESUS CHRIST!
IF you say you have no sin, you are a liar. If you confess your sins, God is faithful and will forgive them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is how God sees it: Jesus Christ took your sin away.
You did not take care of your sin by turning from them. If that’s the case than you did it and He didn’t. What living creature today, saved or lost has turned from or stopped “all” of his or her sin?
What theologian can show me in the Bible where one must stop sinning to be saved?
You can’t, it’s not there!
The result is you will….begin to turn from your sin as your mind is being renewed. The difference is crucial!
Can you imagine sharing the good news of the finished work of Christ with the folks at AA or the shelter, or church, that Christ died……for your sin and will take you right now, just as you are ……but….. you have to turn from drinking, smoking, using your drug of choice, wether crack, heroine, caffeine, martinis, sugar or chocolate, watching pornography, fornicating, taking the Lord’s name in vain, judging, lusting, pride, selfishness, unforgiving, gluttony, stealing, cheating, lying and coveting, just to name a few? They would go away sad. To come to Christ, we must repent from….. “our” ,,, repentance, and accept “His”.
We mustn’t turn it into a work that we…… must do!!!!!
If your unrepentant sin is not on Jesus Christ, you’re in trouble. Think about it.
Start loving God with all your heart, mind and body, love you neighbor as yourself and Christ will quicken your bones and give you life???? Really? How is that working for you?
Friends, that’s not How God sees it!
In the age of grace, God has called all who are unable to do anything for themselves. He has given them the free “gift” of salvation. We “all” failed at works! Talk about insanity! Are you still…. trying to please God by your works? He says your best attempt is dung!!!!!!!
Religion and denominations have done just as much as satan himself to obscure the truth from saved and lost people with works righteousness.
God has given you HIS righteousness.
Do you know who you are?
What did Christ die for? He died to set you free and when Christ sets you free, you are free indeed!
If we are not changed, than all we have is a history lesson of Christ’s life, a philosophy and at most an intellectual assent. Your local church is nothing more than a social club if God has not done something to… you and to those sitting around you.
If you are in Christ, than you are a new creature.
Christ gave His life “for”….you, He gave His life “to”….you, so He can live His life “through”…. you!
The Son of God became the Son of Man, so sons of man could become sons of God.
We are more than conquerors, we are not saved just to stay out of hell, we are His assembly of new creatures to represent Him on the earth and be with Him now… in the heavenly kingdom, earthly kingdom to come, and beyond – eternity ( the church the body of Christ).
Just like Christ, we are there and here at the same time. We are here in body and there in Spirit.
This new creature is all human with all of God dwelling within. Contemplate that for a minute… or a lifetime. If not, than what are we? 1 John 3:2 KJV
[2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Do you know how blessed you are to have this opportunity to receive Him and become His Child? John 1:12-13 KJV

There’s so much more than this physical life we are in right now. So much more to come!
When Christ returns, the blood bought believer (the church the body of Christ)
will be with Him. We are with Him right now! We are never separated.
How can a blood bought soul be separated from God when we are in God and God is in Us???? John 17:21 KJV
[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Set your mind on things above of whom… you…. are….. now.
You have all the blessings of God in Christ, you are His child.
God sees you as dead to sin. (Sin is not dead, you… are… dead to it.)

This is how good the gospel is: God sees you as crucified, buried, raised and seated with Him.
You are alive to Him.
As God told Abraham, you will be the father of a great nation, your descendants will be as sand on the shore. Abraham was baffled because he “couldn’t see” it, he was without a child! As God told Moses to head straight for the sea as he led the people from Egypt, Moses “couldn’t see” how that made sense, but God “could see” the sea open and them going through on dry land. He tells us our old man that was a slave of sin is dead. He sees us as alive and tells us to see it that way. Are you listening and following a dead man or listening and following the Holy Spirit? See it as He sees it. Reckon you body dead, this body of flesh. (the old sin nature that could only function from the carnal flesh). He sees your body as His temple. Glory, Glory, Glory!!!! He has cleaned you up and moved in. You, the old man born of Adam was crucified, dead, raised on the third day. We must remember God doesn’t operate in time but outside of it. He calls things which are not as if they are!! Romans 4:17 KJV
[17] (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Romans 8:9 KJV
[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
God no longer sees you in the flesh where sin dwells. You are in Him.
Flesh, in scripture has always meant carnal, fleshy, meaty part of the body whether human or animal. It has always been what was sacrificed on the alter for sin.
Basar in Hebrew and Sarx in Greek. Flesh means of a physical nature, carnal, that which is the opposite of God. That which is flesh is flesh. That which is spirit is spirit.
God made the first man of the dust of the ground and breathed in him the breath of life. He was perfect, without sin. He didn’t even know what sin was. Then….you know the story; he disobeyed God and sinned. Sin is missing the mark, failing to be perfect as God is perfect.
From then on, sin dwelled in the flesh of man and has since. Sin, a force and power of evil; the nature and power of satan. Satan’s DNA was “mingled” with that of perfection resulting in perversion. This force of evil was passed down through the flesh and man would remain this way that lead to death unless something changed him…….
God become flesh and then offered His flesh to die, so that men could then be free of this sin parasite.
Friends, This is the.gospel!
Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, perfection, Holy and without sin took on human sin, all the sin of the whole world where it lives, in the flesh and crucified it. Dead, gone. He took it to hell where it belongs and raised to life the third day with a new glorified body (you haven’t received yours yet). The wages of sin is death. Jesus died, defeating sin and offered the same to you and I.
Were you there when they crucified Him?
Were you there when He was placed in the tomb?
Were you there when He rolled the stone away?
Paul tells us, by faith, we were.

[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Does God see His Son as bloody and dead, still hanging on the Cross? No!!
Neither does He see you there. He sees you as alive, no longer in the flesh, but in Christ.
He sees you as raised and seated with Him. Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! Thank…. You… Jesussssssss!!!!!
You were once in the flesh, born of the flesh, controlled by the flesh. Not anymore, if you have been crucified and raised. That’s being born again. You don’t have two natures, the old one is dead!
So many Christians will say they are born again, then say, I need to die to self, die daily.
You have……died and are alive in Christ.
God sees you as having died with Him on the cross!
Nothing happened to your fleshly body when you were saved and baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit. If you had cancer, you would still have cancer. If you were 5’8” tall, you would still be…. you get the point. But the new man at your conversion that God sees, occupies this body and constantly fights with the flesh. Galatians 5:17 KJV
[17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
You see, the body didn’t change, but it has new occupants. You, the new man, born of God by faith and…. God Himself occupy your body now. Your body is not ugly and bad, it was made by God and is a living sacrifice to Him. Romans 12:1 KJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
God does not dwell in an ugly sinful body. Our behavior can still be bad but God has cleaned house and moved in. Your flesh still remembers that sin and constantly wars with these new occupants. You, the new man are no longer subject to this power of sin to obey it. You, the new man are not your flesh, you are not your behavior.
You are a new man, born of the Spirit of God, living in a body where flesh and carnality ruled. You were a slave to sin because you were born of sin. That is behind you, dead on the cross.
You, the new man still lives in a fleshly body where the force of sin is still present and will war with you (new man) until you are set free at death. The flesh will die! At that moment, you will be freed from that earthen vessel and present with the Lord!
This new man born of God doesn’t even like sin anymore, you are not made for it.
The flesh will constantly try to convince you sin is ok, but the Holy Spirit living inside with you will always show you how He sees it. You have a choice now, as you didn’t before.
You can follow the Spirit and have joy and peace and abundant life, so good you can’t even understand it, or you can follow “fleshy” and feel good for a few minutes but then feel miserable.
The Holy Spirit teaches us to say no to sin. How good is that? Titus 2:11-12 KJV
[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
The new man has an obedient heart, one that desires what God desires. Romans 6:17-18 KJV
[17] But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
And here’s the best part: You won’t hear this in church!
Even if, you choose to follow fleshy and sin (which we all will do from time to time), God will not hold it against you. God will not charge it to your account. Romans 4:8 KJV
[8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Christ paid the price for all of your sin at the cross.
Does that mean you can now go and sin all you want? Yep, but you won’t, you will feel horrible when you sin. God will chasten you in His teaching as he renews your mind but that sin will no longer separate you from Him. This is how God sees it.
He did something for us and….. something to……us.
Don’t you think this comes with something? Yeah! Power and wisdom! 1 Corinthians 1:18,24 KJV
[18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. [24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
You have power now over sin and death, and wisdom to see what God sees.
When your physical body dies, you will be looking at Christ face to face! 1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV
12] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
You have a new heart and your mind is being renewed.
You now have God, the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. You can talk to Him all day long as if He is sitting in the room with you. How good is that? He never leaves even… when you sin. (Won’t hear that in church). When you sin now, God is right there with you. He will remind you that you are following the dead man and not Him and you have the power…. and… the choice to continue with the dead man or Him.
God living in you will change your desires.
I call the two: Holy and fleshy. ( Holy is in another writing and came about while sharing Jesus with my grandkids. They call the Holy Spirit “Holie!)
I can see things as God sees them or as the flesh sees them, and then choose whom I will follow. The difference in a saved man and a lost man, is the saved man will feel terrible when he’s not walking with the Spirit. The lost man couldn’t care less.
With Christ living in you, and your mind being renewed, your desires will change.
You will continue to war with fleshy but you will start to see victory as you choose Holy over fleshy.
We must… understand that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that causes this change, not our willpower or our work. Never exalt yourself and say “look what I have done, I have stopped smoking or drinking, or this sin or that sin”. No, we must always exalt Him for our victory.
I was asked once to preach on the subject “what does it mean to give up”. The Pastor at the time was not pleased at all with me when I said “ we don’t have to stop anything, just give it up” pointing to heaven and went on to explain that if we give it to Christ, He will take it from us. I was never asked to preach again.
You, yourself become the greatest evidence of this truth. You, will see the change in you. Others will see the change in you. You will lose the desire for that which fleshy wants and crave that which Holy wants.
Your addictions will start to irritate you because they have a power over you that you don’t like. You will see them as God sees them and when you stop trying to beat them and give them to God, “He” will deal with them! Yes, I mean even as you are smoking and drinking or whatever sin you struggle with. (been there and done it)
The old man is dead, we don’t struggle with the old man, he is dead. God… sees…him as dead! We, much like Elisha’s servant can’t yet see this, but God can. We struggle with the flesh where the sin is.
You see the old man was born after flesh and created in sin, Psalm 51:5 KJV
[5] Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Watch this: the new man is born of God and like Him and has His nature! God now, can work through him, even as we are housed in this body. How? Because God reckons that body dead. Just as He doesn’t see or remember you sin anymore. Ephesians 4:24 KJV
[24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Galatians 2:20 KJV
[20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Oh boy that’s good!
Here’s how God sees you now: you are a Spirit like Him, born of Him, that dwells in a human body.
You are God men, God women, God children.
Just like in the physical, we became like our fathers and mothers. We took on their traits, we talked like them, walked like them and people could see them in us.
Now, we, being born of God start to take on His nature and likeness. We are born again as spiritual babies and must grow to maturity in Christ. The Holy Spirit nurtures this new creature as Mom once nurtured us. We are like a poor lost child from the dregs of society that has been adopted into a royal family. He is cleaned up and clothed in royalty, re – taught how to do everything. This royal child would never go back to a garbage can and eat….
That’s who you are! That’s how God sees you!
How do you see you?
It doesn’t mean the flesh is bad, it is just doing what it is. Flesh does what flesh does. It will die as it was under the the curse of the fall. The flesh still has needs, it lusts for food, water, acceptance, pride, sex, fame. It gets angry tired and sleepy.
The new man born of God, needs none of it. The new man is sustained by the word of God and understands he is in this body of flesh, but not of it.
When we sin, Paul tells us that it’s not us, but the sin that dwells in us!
Romans 7:17 KJV
[17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
You will begin to hate the things of the world and desire the things of God as you grow in Christ.
You see, God sees the finished product, the rest of the story, He wrote it!
He sees the oak tree in the acorn.
He told Abraham, he would be the father of a great nation and he had no children.
He didn’t see the fatherless Abraham, He could see Isaac and all that came after.
He looked at Mary, a virgin and saw a mother with child.” How can this be Lord” Mary replied. She couldn’t see it with physical eyes!
We must understand and agree (confess) that God-is spirit and man is physical.
God is beginning and end, He sees the rest of the story, you may only be on chapter 3 or 17, but He knows the rest of the story.
Here’s the great news: He’s revealed it to us!!!!!
When God says it, you can bet your life on it!
If God reckons your old man dead, then reckon… your…..old … man dead!
If God says you are alive to Him, then reckon yourself alive!
If God says you were crucified with Christ, dead, raised and seated with Him, then believe it. God is not a man that He can lie.
If, we would but look at things as God sees them. If we would but look at ourselves as God sees us, we would lose the worldly religious baggage of attempting to make ourselves what God by grace through faith has….. already………DONE!!
We look at something and say: that’s impossible. God says nothing is impossible. Matthew 19:26 KJV
[26] But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
The way I see it…… if we looked at it as God sees it, we would walk differently, act differently, feel differently, eat, drink, speak, love, worship differently, work, play, rest differently, think, pray, give and receive differently. We would even approach life and death differently. Can you imagine your life if you just acted like one of God’s children. Can you look in the mirror and say, “I am Gods Child”!
I hear those that say, “we’re all Gods children”. No! We’re not all God’s children. We are dead and must be reborn, brought to life in Christ. Then you can say “I am”.
The love joy and peace would be beyond your understanding.
Gods ultimate goal is for you to be conformed to the likeness of His son.
God sees us as saints. Do you walk as a saint?
If we walked by faith and not by sight, we would see it as God sees it.
We look at our circumstances and say it’s futile. God says, I can do all things in Christ that strengthens me (all things God wants for me).
The old man can only see what Adam wanted.
The old man only wants what Adam wanted.
The old man can only do what Adam did.
The old man is guilty.
The old man is always contrary to God.
The old man is incompatible with God.
The old man died.
The new man is allowed to see what God sees and has access right into the throne of God.
The new man desires what God wants and wars with the sin of his flesh.
The new man is free from the penalty and power of sin, free to choose who he will follow.
The new man is declared not guilty! Justified! Owes nothing, set free.
The new man is alive for eternity with the almighty God. Now….. and forever.
The new man has peace with God.
The new man is now… compatible with God.
You no longer have to worry about it or try to be it. You can’t work or try to earn it. You are.
A grape doesn’t have to try to be a grape or strain and grunt to grow, it grows because it is a grape and connected to the vine.
Jesus Christ is mankind’s solution to the problem we can never solve for ourselves. The problem of death and being separated from our creator.
You are saved.
You are alive.
You are redeemed.
You are reconciled.
You are justified.
You are sanctified.
You are glorified.
You are free.
You are clean.
You are close.
You are new.
You are righteous.
You are a Saint.
You have power.
You have wisdom.
You are light.
You are a masterpiece.
You are eternal!
You are a child of the living God!
You are loved!
YOU ARE.
